Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26-28ft) for local/regional freight transport
- Manage pickup/delivery scheduling with flexible hour options
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting delivery deadlines
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M min)
- Reliable 26-28ft box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- DOT medical certification
- Smartphone with reliable GPS/internet connectivity
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs occasionally
