Responsibilities
- Execute time-sensitive local/regional freight deliveries using personal box truck
- Maintain DOT compliance documentation (logbooks, inspections, permits)
- Optimize routes for efficiency using GPS tracking systems
- Coordinate with clients for seamless loading/unloading procedures
- Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and preventative maintenance
- Manage inventory handling with precision and care protocols
- Submit digital trip reports and settlement documentation

Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck/straight truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable late-model box truck (26' preferred) with DOT compliance
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and navigation apps
- Strong knowledge of NJ/NYC metro area traffic patterns
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate warehouse equipment
