Responsibilities
- Safely operate Amazon delivery vehicles and complete timely package deliveries in Durham and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and use GPS technology for efficient route planning
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery concerns
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and ensure on-time performance
- Adhere strictly to Amazon safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Support warehouse operations when needed (loading/unloading packages)
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
