Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with Amazon safety protocols and local traffic laws
- Efficiently load, secure, and unload packages using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during package deliveries and address delivery issues
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational readiness
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery routes and time management
- Uphold Amazon's standards for package handling and delivery accuracy
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs regularly and push/pull up to 100 lbs
- Strong knowledge of Fresno area geography and efficient routing strategies
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills for strict delivery deadlines
- Passionate customer service mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Successful completion of Amazon's background check and drug screening
