Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, identifying emerging trends and disruptive opportunities
- Lead scenario planning and horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies including quantum AI, bio-integrated systems, and climate-positive tech
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market viability
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia to accelerate 2026 technology adoption
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks ensuring all future technologies align with sustainable and inclusive principles
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation team focused on long-term technological transformation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist research with proven impact on enterprise transformation
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with demonstrated ability to translate complex futures into executable roadmaps
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across global organizations and diverse stakeholder ecosystems
- Strong publication record in futurist thought leadership or technology forecasting (white papers, patents, keynotes)
- MSc/PhD in Technology, Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies including Delphi studies, trend impact analysis, and scenario modeling
- Track record of securing innovation funding and scaling experimental technologies to commercial viability
