Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Partner with R&D to integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) into product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future-state vision and innovation priorities
- Author quarterly 'Future Briefs' for executive board on disruptive threats and opportunities
- Establish metrics to track future-readiness across organizational capabilities
- Represent company at global futurism forums and maintain cutting-edge industry knowledge
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (PESTLE, STEEP, Delphi technique)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation publications
