Responsibilities
- Forecast industry and societal trends impacting 2026 technology landscapes
- Develop speculative scenarios and roadmaps for emerging tech adoption
- Lead workshops with C-suite to align strategy on future-ready innovations
- Author whitepapers on disruptive forces (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech)
- Advise product teams on future-proofing user experiences and infrastructure
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate foresight insights into product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of predicting tech adoption curves (showcased via publications)
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent discipline
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations with measurable impact
