Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and prioritize emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal disruptions through 2026+
- Develop future scenario frameworks and stress-test organizational resilience against exponential change vectors
- Architect innovation pipelines integrating quantum computing, AGI, and biotech convergence opportunities
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align corporate strategy with 2026 technological inflection points
- Present future outlooks to investor boards and industry conferences, establishing thought leadership
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures-thinking methodologies and adaptive planning
- Produce annual Horizon Reports with data-driven forecasts on climate tech, neuro interfaces, and space economies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of developing future scenarios that influenced $100M+ business decisions
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking skills with ability to model complex global systems
- Published thought leadership in futures studies with 500+ citations
- Experience guiding organizations through paradigm shifts (e.g., digital transformation)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures methodologies preferred
