Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum, neurotech) and their business implications through horizon-scanning methodologies
- Develop 10-year strategic roadmaps with measurable milestones for innovation portfolio expansion
- Lead cross-functional 'Future State' workshops with C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Author high-impact thought leadership and scenario reports for investor and board audiences
- Establish KPI frameworks for tracking future-readiness across organizational functions
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market viability
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and technology summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 8+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic plans for Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, or neurotech)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning, Delphi methods, and technology roadmapping frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into executive narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful futures projects with measurable outcomes
