Responsibilities
- Develop and publish biannual 'Horizon Scan' reports identifying paradigm shifts in AI, biotech, and climate tech
- Design strategic frameworks for 2026 product roadmaps integrating exponential technologies
- Facilitate C-level workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation for disruptive innovations
- Lead cross-functional sprints prototyping next-gen solutions in our Innovation Accelerator
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term impact of strategic initiatives
- Represent company at global forums like Web Summit and Foresight Practitioners Conference
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies and strategic foresight tools
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of influencing C-suite decisions with trend analysis
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or Foresight Practitioners)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic initiatives launched 3+ years post-forecast
