Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, climate tech) to forecast market shifts through 2030
- Develop innovation roadmaps aligning emerging technologies with corporate growth objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development and strategic initiatives
- Present trend insights and scenario analyses to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain a proprietary foresight ecosystem including trend databases and expert networks
- Author annual 'Future Horizons' report influencing 5-year strategic planning cycles
- Advantageously position company in emerging markets through preemptive strategic pivots
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum) and societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (articles, whitepapers)
- Experience leading cross-continental teams in fast-paced tech environments
