Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends
- Develop 2026 innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs and risk mitigation strategies
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios
- Author white papers and thought leadership on disruptive market opportunities
- Lead prototype development for next-gen products/services with engineering teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or futures research at tech/consulting firms
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Proven track record of launching market-disrupting innovations
- Strong data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI) and research tools (Miro, Notion)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects with measurable outcomes
