Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop strategic roadmaps for future-proof product portfolios and service innovations
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to model future business environments and competitive landscapes
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts using agile methodologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Establish innovation governance frameworks to balance long-term vision with near-term execution
- Monitor global patent landscapes and academic research for disruptive signals
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities for complex future scenarios
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (articles, books, white papers)
