Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and behavioral patterns to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop and maintain Horizon's Innovation Radar, a proprietary forecasting system for emerging technologies
- Lead strategic workshops with executive teams to translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Architect scenarios for market evolution and competitive disruption across AI, quantum computing, and biotech sectors
- Manage innovation incubation projects from ideation to MVP with allocated $2M+ annual budget
- Publish thought leadership pieces and present at global industry forums on future-focused strategies
- Mentor junior futurists and build a dedicated foresight analytics team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or R&D with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep technical knowledge in AI, Web3, or biotech convergence areas
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into executive-ready insights
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and multi-million dollar innovation budgets
