Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data (AI, quantum computing, bioengineering) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Present executive briefings on emerging tech implications and strategic pivots
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary foresight methodology
- Contribute to thought leadership through white papers and industry talks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused initiatives
