Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and emerging fields
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable initiatives
- Present strategic visions to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership content on emerging technologies and societal impacts
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory developments affecting innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or advanced technology consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, Web3, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting complex concepts to C-suite audiences
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or social sciences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on future-oriented projects
