Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with leading research institutions and venture capital firms
- Mentor junior strategists and foster innovation through internal hackathons
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining tech products
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI development
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals or conference proceedings
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., from Institute for the Future)
