Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, Web3)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Establish KPIs and governance frameworks for technology adoption and ROI measurement
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor partnerships for technology ecosystem expansion
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of continuous learning and experimentation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or senior R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching successful technology products/services in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Strong financial acumen with experience in technology budgeting and ROI analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CIMP, PDMA) or strategic foresight methodologies preferred
- Experience with agile development and lean startup methodologies
