Responsibilities
- Architect and implement the core neural network layers of the 2026 framework, focusing on efficiency and scalability.
- Optimize model inference latency and reduce computational overhead for edge deployment scenarios.
- Collaborate with the Research Science team to refine training pipelines and loss functions.
- Design and maintain the infrastructure required for training billion-parameter models on distributed clusters.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain high technical standards.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in attention mechanisms and optimization techniques.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, or Natural Language Processing.
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and high-performance computing (HPC).
- Experience with model quantization, pruning, and knowledge distillation.
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).
