Responsibilities
- Lead development of comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business growth objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) into product pipelines
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to anticipate industry shifts and disruptor opportunities
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and technology pioneers
- Develop KPI frameworks to measure technology adoption and ROI of innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or executive R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, biotech)
- Experience in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environment
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Strong financial acumen for technology investment analysis and ROI modeling
- PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
