Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps targeting 2026+ industry disruption
- Analyze emerging trends in quantum computing, biotech, and AI to identify strategic opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-generation solutions
- Partner with R&D to align technology investments with market demands and sustainability goals
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and investors with compelling data narratives
- Establish industry partnerships to accelerate adoption of breakthrough technologies
- Mentor junior strategists in futures-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth sectors
- Proven track record in forecasting market trends and translating them into actionable plans
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, etc.)
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning and technology assessment frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for executive stakeholder management
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M
- Certification in emerging tech or futures studies preferred
