Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research on disruptive innovations
- Establish governance frameworks for AI/ML implementation and ethical tech deployment
- Forge strategic partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry leaders
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to the board
- Mentor junior strategists in future technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technological scenarios
- Experience securing $5M+ technology innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (IEEE, ACM, etc.)
