Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026-focused innovation roadmaps for AI, biotech, and sustainable tech sectors
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities and disruptors
- Translate futuristic concepts into actionable business strategies with measurable KPIs
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term corporate vision
- Drive prototyping and pilot programs for breakthrough technologies in our state-of-the-lab facility
- Represent FutureVision at global tech forums and shape industry discourse on future trends
- Mentor emerging talent in future-focused methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ projects that successfully anticipated and capitalized on future trends
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston or APF)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience scaling innovation labs from concept to commercialization
- Deep network within Silicon Valley's tech and venture capital ecosystems
