Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team for route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills with GPS technology proficiency
