Responsibilities
- Provide safe, courteous, and timely transportation services to passengers across Newark and surrounding areas
- Maintain meticulous vehicle cleanliness and conduct daily safety inspections
- Optimize earnings through strategic route planning and peak-hour availability
- Utilize CityRide's app for real-time trip acceptance, navigation, and passenger communication
- Document service incidents and feedback to enhance operational excellence
- Adhere to all local traffic regulations and CityRide's service standards
Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey driver's license with minimum 3 years clean driving record
- Personal vehicle model year 2010+ with 4 doors and commercial insurance coverage
- Smartphone proficiency with GPS navigation apps
- Exceptional customer service skills and professional appearance
- Availability to work 40+ hours weekly including weekends and holidays
- Background check clearance and drug screening compliance
