Responsibilities
- Operate a 26' Box Truck to transport freight safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Handle loading and unloading of goods using pallet jacks or forklifts (if available).
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork (BOLs, PODs).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Must currently own and maintain a 26' Box Truck (GVW 26,000 lbs+).
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with appropriate endorsements (if applicable).
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings as needed.
