Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to designated locations within Kansas City metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status and delays through company tracking systems
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Familiarity with Kansas City streets and navigation tools
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
