Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan efficient delivery routes while maintaining punctual schedules
- Document all shipments, mileage, and incident reports accurately
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and basic mechanical upkeep
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Prior experience with hazmat or refrigerated freight preferred
