Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight between warehouses, distribution centers, and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while adhering to delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route updates and delivery status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks/hand trucks
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Southern California road networks preferred
