Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain detailed vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload materials efficiently using proper techniques and equipment
- Navigate complex job sites and local routes with precision
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients
- Perform basic maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Support team goals through collaborative problem-solving
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of local Greensboro-area routes and regulations
- Physical capability to climb in/out of vehicles and handle materials
- Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
- Basic equipment maintenance knowledge
