Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials and debris across Boston metropolitan area
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all transport activities
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate efficient material unloading and project timelines
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and local traffic laws during all operations
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Support emergency response operations during severe weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brakes endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with dump trucks
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with Boston area routes and construction site protocols
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
