Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and traffic laws
- Load/unload materials efficiently using hydraulic controls and site-specific equipment
- Navigate complex urban routes and construction sites with precision
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and field supervisors
- Document deliveries and resolve discrepancies in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Familiarity with LA County routes and construction site logistics
- Strong spatial awareness and heavy equipment maneuvering skills
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work variable shifts including early mornings and weekends
