Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials between job sites
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for loading/unloading operations
- Navigate San Diego County routes efficiently using GPS and local knowledge
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Document materials transported and maintain delivery records
- Report mechanical issues and assist with basic maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of local San Diego traffic regulations
- Physical capability to climb equipment and handle up to 50 lbs
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends
