Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, sand, asphalt) to job sites
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate material deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform minor maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Navigate Boston's urban and suburban routes efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of Boston area geography and traffic patterns
