Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials to designated job sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors to optimize delivery schedules
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with precision and efficiency
- Document mileage, fuel usage, and delivery documentation
- Maintain clean driving record and report any incidents immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks in construction/logistics
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and route planning
- Strong understanding of weight distribution and load securement
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
