Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols, especially during night driving conditions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 5 years (clean MVR).
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Ability to work nights (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar shift).
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, cargo securement, and hazardous material handling.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and communication.
