Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A dump trucks for material transport to construction sites and quarries
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatchers to optimize delivery schedules and minimize downtime
- Secure and unload materials at job sites using proper equipment techniques
- Document delivery details and report any road hazards or vehicle issues
- Maintain clean and organized truck interiors after each shift
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks or heavy haul equipment
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of El Paso-area routes and terrain conditions
- Basic mechanical skills for minor roadside repairs and troubleshooting
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
