Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, soil) to designated sites
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Assist with loading/unloading operations using proper equipment handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate maintenance repairs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with airbrake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years verifiable dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and physical exam
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and trip planning software
- Strong understanding of load securement and weight distribution principles
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physical environments
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
