Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class B dump trucks for material transport to construction sites and disposal facilities
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and delivery schedules
- Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs on-site
- Represent company professionally with clients and project managers
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong understanding of weight distribution and load securement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside repairs
- Excellent time management and communication skills
