Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods across Virginia Beach and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Handle fragile or temperature-sensitive shipments with care
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or willingness to obtain within 60 days
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Virginia Beach area and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
