Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to customers and businesses in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure accident-free driving.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling deliveries with care and courtesy.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Utilize handheld devices for route planning, tracking, and reporting delivery status.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and placement.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for navigating delivery apps and logging hours.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
