Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia streets and surrounding metropolitan area
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking app
