Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various customer locations throughout New York City and surrounding regions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Unload and organize packages efficiently at delivery sites while maintaining a professional demeanor with clients.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, document mileage, and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Utilize handheld delivery management software to track orders and update customer status in real-time.
- Maintain a clean and organized personal vehicle and company-supplied equipment.
- Handle cash/card transactions accurately and process paperwork as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
