Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to customer addresses while adhering to time schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, resolving any delivery issues.
- Utilize handheld devices for route planning, navigation, and electronic proof of delivery.
- Report any accidents, damages, or safety hazards immediately to management.
- Manage inventory and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class B or equivalent) and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must have a reliable smartphone (iPhone or Android) for app access.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to solve problems on the go.
- Basic knowledge of local roads and traffic laws in Charlotte, NC.
