Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial customers.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles using hand-trucks and pallet jacks.
- Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure accident-free driving.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and professionally.
- Collect payments and maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow route instructions to optimize delivery efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone technology for navigation and digital signatures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
