Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages on time and in perfect condition
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery status and special requests
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at warehouse and delivery locations
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and navigation skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Customer-focused communication skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
