Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to designated residential and commercial addresses.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance.
- Inspect vehicle condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Provide outstanding customer service and handle customer inquiries professionally.
- Accurately verify delivery details and collect payments when required.
- Keep delivery vehicles clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
- Use mobile technology to update delivery status and track routes in real-time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Strong knowledge of New York City streets, traffic patterns, and landmarks.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for navigation and communication.
- Fluency in English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
