Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently navigate Nashville's metropolitan area using GPS systems and route planning tools
- Load, unload, and verify delivery contents with meticulous attention to detail
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve any delivery-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using our mobile tracking system
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational readiness
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and maintain on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds with regular frequency
- Strong familiarity with Nashville metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficiency using mobile devices and route navigation applications
- Reliable transportation to and from designated depot location
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
