Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles in a safe, courteous, and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care and placed in designated areas.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain digital signatures upon successful delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Process cash and card payments accurately and handle customer inquiries with a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or serious infractions).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology (smartphones) for navigation and order processing.
- Physically fit to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Reliable access to a well-maintained vehicle suitable for local delivery (if not provided).
