Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Portland metro area.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring accurate package handling.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to manage routes, scan barcodes, and update delivery status in real-time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a zero-accident environment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition.
- Handle cash and digital payments accurately and resolve any customer inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Reliable smartphone with active data plan for GPS navigation and app usage.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak evening hours.
